Since 1958, I have searched records, visited libraries and archives, interviewed relatives, copied photos, ordered documents visited villages where our ancestors lived and enjoyed family history research. I hope to share all that I have gathered through the Family History section of this website.

The documents, photos, histories, etc. will be added day-by-day over the next weeks, months and years. So, check back often or email me to request I work on posting documents, etc. for a particular family line that you are interested in seeing.

I'm excited to share photos of ancestors and photos of the villages and homes where they lived. I have just returned from several wonderful and amazing weeks (June 15-June 30, 2010 in Europe where I was able to visit with Ingrid Lenz (a cousin on the Goergen family line) in Neuerburg, Germany. I also was able to enjoy research in the archives in Arlon, Belgium on the Hemroule line (Jacob Goergen's mother was Catherine Hemroule) and drive through Bastogne and Neffe where that family was from. In the research I learned that her mother (Jacob's grandmother) was from an area now in the country of Luxembourg.
